| Entry Requirement for the Foundation In Computing (L3DC)

Moroccan Baccalaureate degree, high school diploma, International Baccalaureate matriculation / Intermediate / GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification.

English requirement:

1. Get an Online Placement test at Hestim.

or

2. An IELTS score 4.5, or TOEFL (32/120).

Upon successful completion of the Level 3 Diploma in Computing (Level 3DC), students have several pathways to consider:

   Students must study the following modules:

+ Introduction to Computer Science:
Students will gain a broad understanding of essential IT concepts, blending both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The curriculum covers everything from fundamental computing principles to hands-on application, ensuring a well-rounded understanding.
+ Study and Communication Skills:
Emphasis is placed on developing key study and communication skills, which are crucial for academic success. These skills enable students to engage effectively with course materials, participate in academic discussions, and produce high-quality work.
+ Introduction to Programming:
Introduces students to the concepts of selection, iteration, and sequencing in the context of object-oriented computer programming through a broad practical application of the contemporary programming language Visual Basic.
+ Foundation Mathematics:
The program includes foundational mathematics, helping students develop critical problem-solving abilities and logical thinking, both of which are essential for computer science and programming. Allowing the student to acquire the basics of mathematics in English.
+ Cultural studies:
The inclusion of cultural studies helps students appreciate the global context of computing. Understanding diverse perspectives is crucial in today’s interconnected world and diverse workplaces.
